Chapter Web Page Award Rules

To be considered for this award submit the chapter's web page address to the National Editor by June 15 via email. No late entries will be considered! Submission should also include a statement documented by the local chapter advisor certifying that no professional help was employed in completion of the website. 

Web page evaluation will be completed at your respective website between June 16 and July 15. As such, no changes are allowed during that time frame. Any changes made during that time will result in automatic disqualification.

Awards will be presented at the next National Block and Bridle convention. First through fifth place will be recognized with a plaque.

The following guidelines will be used to evaluate the entries for the Chapter Web Page Award.

A.  Content (50%)
1. List of officers and advisors and contact information
2. Club events calendar and description and meeting dates/location
3. How to join the club
4. Reference and link to National Block and Bridle Club
5. Description of what the (local chapter) is all about (mission/vision statement)
 
B. Appearance (25%)
1. Eye-catching opening page that is easy to read
2. Pictures, video, animation - appropriate (not excessive)
3. Text and font: easy to read, no glaring errors, appropriate length for topics
4. Layout: good use of space - good mix of pictures and text
 
C. Arrangement (25%)
1. Logical order and flow of pages
2. Appropriate length of each page (not excessive download time)
3. Easy to find information and links you are looking for
